Story 14DX/03004R Story from 14DX/03004R activity. It was approx 7am utc when arrived on island, time to find a quiet place away from the house, I found a small path between 2-channel and installed in an entry in a field hoping not disturb farmers. Was Quickly ready to give 1st CQ, the band was flat, just a few bursts and the 173, 34 arrived safe ( bad sign ). The first QSO is the only French in the log 14DA049 Fred congrats ! Made with mobile antenna hi !, then I erect the vertical A99 and it does not change much, the band is still flat. Finally some European stations can be heard in the late morning but only by bursts, there is also 3DA012 Roger, the only "out europe station " that reinforces my log hi ! Then spread redescent almost as fast ... I go QRT today. Sunday morning the spread is even worse than the day before, after many CQ's, only managed one contact, band terrible. I expected to return back maybe during islands festival in June. return
