Story 109DX/DU007 Story from 109DX/DU007 activity. Hi iwi chasers, Decision to activate Csepel island was taken by me after receiving order from my bosses to go to Szekesfehervar in Hungary for 4 hours meeting with a business customer. It was very good excuse for me to visit and activate another island - only 20kms from my way. Island was achieved by me at 11:45 GMT and after finding good location preparation I started. Thanks to my previous activations I am fully prepared to organize in few minutes activation. The weather was very bad, from Monday each day heavy rain- the same was during my presence on island. First logged station after few calls as always reliable 14DX181 Marc, after that only bzzzzzz. After few minutes local Hungarian station in my log and few minutes later Polish lorry driver. I started frequency scanning - on 27635 I found Italian station during long QSO, but one of them answered for my call, thanks to this next station in my log. Next few minutes without success and another mobile from Poland which was met by me on frequency in Hungary. After next long time station from Slovakia logged in. After this contact I took decision to finish activation, I hope that will be possibility to be once again in this place – maybe 2 months later because next meeting will take place in June.
