Story 13DX/BY006 Story from 13DX/BY006 activity. We thought it´s time to bring some new 11m IWI´s on air & our plan was to activate BY001, BY003, BY006 & BY020. Finally we where able to bring 13DX/BY006 & 13DX/BY020 on air during Saturday the 2nd of June. The WX and condx where bad on Sunday so we decided to go qrt quiet early. The most fun was Jakobsinsel, this Island is only about 140sq m and we where not alone! After we landet on the island a family of great spotted woodpeckers started with there "welcome song". Conditions where great and we logged 120 Stations in about 2h. Then at around 09:45utc we decided to change the Island. This was a mistake, because when we reached BY003 (its a private Island) at around 10:10utc the owner was there & told us we are not allowed to operate from there. We went back in the boat to move to BY020, at around 10:40utc after putting up the station and antenna the excellent band conditions where nearly gone. We logged a couple more EU station and at around 12:30utc there where nearly no more Sporadic-E sigs. A big surprise was 102AT101 who showed up with a 59+ sig at 12:50utc. All together it was a great trip with lots of fun & a total of 208 QSOs. Hopefully we could bring BY001 & BY003 an air during this summer & there is also BY004 & BY008 waiting for us.
