Story 161DX/F018 Zbik island Story from 161DX/F013 activity. 7th of June, the second day of our activity on seaside. Today small change- in my team Waldi 012, Greg operating with Mac on F002 Portowa island. It was windy and with rain from time to time day. Activation started a little later due the reason of finding proper place for Skypper installation. During preparation to this activity I checked on Google Earth possible to this places but after arriving we decided to find another one. First call was done from mobile antenna, few station logged, Waldi by microphone of Icom 706, his Icom 7000 stayed with second team. After 30 minutes we found proper place and Waldi continued calling from mobile, I started ass’y of Skypper. After few calls from Skypper John 101 called us once again to say that big signal increasing occurred due to Skpper installation. Location on Sienna Grobla was perfect, lack of people only Police for one moment on other side of river. During 6 hours on fresh air over 40 stations logged – not bad in our opinion. After de-ass’y of antenna system we started back trip to Sobieszewo island via Portowa island to take pictures with whole team. Thanks to all logged stations.
