Story 161DX/P010 - Sporna Isl - IWI Story from 161DX/P010 activity. December - not so good time in our location for this next activation, but according to our schedule, we tried to do as we had planned. Together with Mac we arrived on the Island before 10:00 gmt, using only mobile antenna, we heard with different signals ( from 3/1 to 5/9 ), even with maximum effort, only 12 stations were logged. First in our log was Marc 181 with 5/9 - congratulation my friend. The WX was not so good - only 10 degrees, without rain. Taking into account that propagation goes down after 3 hours we decided to go home. We hope that in 2009 during Spring time we will visit this IWI once again. Thank you very much to all for contact.
