Story 161DX/P015 Ostroga isl. IWI 28/06 around 8:00 we start our 25km trip from Bydgoszcz to Labiszyn city - our target for today and tomorrow. At 8:30 we achieved our destination and started short tour to find location for antenne and equipment. Because Ostroga island is very small, the best location will be on private area. Thanks to our personal charm we received approval for entrance for private area from the only inhabitant- owner of flowers shop. After preparation- around 1 hour we tried to start our newest equipment- Kipor 1300. What we can say- very good investment, was possible to supply power to 2 laptops and operation with 100W from Icom 706. Propagation not so good- only 43 contacts in the log. We hope that next day will be better. On 29/06 we started little later but as we all know, almoust zero propagation. We spent 5 hours without new contacts in the log and around 16:00 we started back trip to Bydgoszcz.
