Story 161DX/P017 Antoniewo isl. IWI 19/07/2008, we start from Bydgoszcz before 5:00 GMT to be on Antoniewo island early morning to give chance to iwi maniacs : like #181 to increase their scores ( we remember Marc will be at work on Saturday). Our destination was achieved around 5:30 and after small tour to find the best location we started preparation to activation. First time we used Skypper antenna made by 161AT080 Jarek who will visit us today. Before 8:00 GMT we started with 45 division as first in our log. Of course Marc was there at the start. Saturday, mainly Mac 016 operated on the station, I had different role - before noon I picked #080 up from railway station (he started his trip from home around 4:00 GMT to spend with us a few hours). Around noon next visitors - 161EX162 & 163 Didi and Jan. Didi, as usual, brought cakes and coffee and as main course perfect prepared steaks for barbeque - thanks Didi. Propagation was not so bad, WX also, but suddenly strong rain- the wall of water and thunderstorm. After protection of station we spent few minutes inside cars to be safe during these dangerous moments. First day we finished around 15:00 GMT with Soren in our log. Totally 38 stations logged. We started back trip to Bydgoszcz and by the way I picked Jarek #080 up to bus station. Next day, 20/07/2008 we started later, propagation much better and after few minutes we increased our numbers in log. WX much better, no any rain, little cloudy day. First station today 14DX079, totally 103 contacts with 16 divisions. We are fully satisfied, thank you all for contacts, big thanks goes to our guests for excellent time.
