Story 161DX/P021 - Luba Island - IWI Story from 161DX/P021 activity held during September 2008. Hello DXers Our next IWI activation 161DX/P021, Luba island. We started Saturday 6th Sept around 9:30 local time as always unpacking fully loaded cars. Because we are little skilled in this activity, before 10:00 UTC all was ready and first call was done. First station in log 161AT080 Jarek, he is very often in our logs. First 2-3 hours not so satisfied, single stations were logged, but after noon - bingo. It was good choice to run on 6th of September, totally over 100 stations in our log, in our opinion big success during one day in so bad propagation. On Sunday 7th Sept we started little later in limited team (AT199 and DX018) but 11 meters band totally closed. After 3 hours we took decision to de-assembly antenna and after half an hour we started back trip to Bydgoszcz.
