Story 19DX/LB001 Story from 19DX/LB001 activity. Since planning my trip to Hatenboer island I did know this was the hardest to activate because 90% of the island is private property from a boat company and repairshop, there is only a road of about 350 meters were I could be active from so one day before my activation I told John and Darran I would go on LB001 to see if it was possible to activate. I arived and after radio test/check I already had police behind my car so I had te move as I was not interested in problems, so I drove to LB019 to see if it was possible to be active from there as a plan B, LB019 was easy I tested my little tower with the Skypper HG from 1SD019 and it was working fine, a quick QSO with John 101 and Darran 047 and 19SD285 Ger where I can always count on to test, I drove home and was ready for Saturday early in the morning. Saturday morning arrived.....I drove to Hatenboer arived there and quickly started with CQ but as there was no traffic because the boat factory was closed there was already a woman with a dog asking me what I was doing and few minutes later the security came and asked what I was doing, I told them testing an antenna but they told me I could not stay. After around 30 minutes I had to QRT with 25 stations in my log from 9 divisions with longest distance 41ET133 Sean (not bad with a mobile sirio 4000) but for those who are intersted I go back because I want to give more people the possibility to get in the log so keep checking Delta Xray website there will be all info published.
