Story 21DX/E007 Story from 21DX/E007 activity. Hi IOTA/IWI Chasers, Time goes very fast and it was the highest time for me to start some IOTA/IWI activation, together with my wife we have planned 2 wks. holiday in Sweden, it was the best occasion to be active once again from Sweden. I found 2 iwi’s not so far from my holiday location in 21 div. Thanks to David 21DX102 I have got very quick reference numbers for 2 planned islands. First island was HOVETORP and my call was 21DX/E007. Saturday 23rd of July, from early morning I started monitoring of 555 on my handheld Dragon SS-201. When I got first stations in loudspeaker I immediately left home driving 20km to get island. Propagation wasn’t good. First part of activation I was finished after 2 hours at 11:00GMT. I was active from 2 different places on island – see GPS. I took decision to activate this island once again afternoon. The second part has started at 15:00GMT and due the reason of poor propagation I have finished second part at 16:00GMT. Finally in log only around 40 stations. For Sunday I planned to be active from E-006 STUREFORS island. The same procedure, from early morning I started monitoring of 27555, but this day propagation wasn’t favorable for me, the same was 1 hour later, 2 hours , 3, 4 and finally whole day without propagation. Due this reason 21DX/E-006 STUREFORS IWI was cancelled, maybe next time ( I have visited this island of course- the only small farm is located on this island and it shouldn’t be problem with small space for my car ). 73’s, Slawek 161DX018. return
