Story 311DX/AI . Story from 311DX/AI activity. Departure from Poland toward Lithuanian Apple Island 17.07.2009. On the following day – 18.07.2009 I have started activation 311DX/AI. First station that was logged was 14AT047, after few connections lady from the reception came and said that power generator unit is to loud and is disturbing island peace. I asked whether there is a possibility of renting a cabin. Unfortunately it was possible only for one night. After mounting antenna and radio I was able to keep connecting from Apple island till evening with some brakes for the meals. On the next day I was forced to changed location to camping for camper cars where there was a chance to get to 230V voltage. First station logged on 18.07.09 was 26NB352. This day was also good in terms of propagation as I have ended the day with 290 contacts.
