Story 47DX/FY016 Story from 47DX/FY016 activity held during July 2009. Hello DXers I left home at around 4:30 UCT to drive about 70km to Thuroe. On the way I have the Icom 706 on, and could hear that the propa- gation was good for the activation. After my arrived on Thuroe I was making some pictures and around 6:20 UCT I was finish to set up the stations, and was ready to get on air. First CQ call and immediately answer from 14 division, propagation was very good and the first hour I used only the Wilson 5000 mobil antenna, then I changed antenna to the one element loop. In around 4 hours I succeeded to log 104 stations from 18 divisions . This was my first IOTA activation, but not the last, so stay tuned more will come. Vy 73's Leif 47DX054 return
