Story 47DX/NJ004 Story from 47DX/NJ004 activity. Departure from home on Thursday 16-07-2020 at 8:00utc with direct course towards Egholm island in the Limfjord(Sea in which Egholm lies in). The island is located close to the city of Aalborg with approximately 215.000 inhabitants, Denmark's third largest city. The sailing time from Aalborg to Egholm island is approx. 5 to 10 minutes. Arrival on the island approx. 12:45utc. After a short break, we started searching for a location where we could camp. Around 1km. from the ferry/harbor we found a suitable place, an excursion point with table/bench set with space for a tent and a car, perfect for our mini DX-pedition. At 15:30utc started my first CQ CQ, shortly after 47DX117 John was in the log, nice to work John on GW, which I can’t from my QTH. Due to bad conditions we got ourselves a longer QSO. Number 2 in the log was 13DX011 Finn followed by 47DX054 Leif. In general the conditions were not good, so there were only logged 87 stations from 17 different DXCC's .. 1, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 26, 29, 35, 47, 54, 56, 68, 104, 161 and 163 div. QRT/end of Egholm island was at 19:15utc Friday the 17-07-2020. Saturday 18-07-2020 at 8:30utc departure to island number 2 (Agero island) approx. 90 km. further southwest in North Jutland.
