Vision Friendship It is Delta-Xray Radio Clubs vision to gather true DX’ers worldwide, in order to feel solidarity to old friends and meet new friends. Changes DXRC Vision is also to make changes to our band. The club believes that the club - as a club - has no influence. But our members (via their behaviour) gives the club influence. This influence must be used to make positive changes to our band. New standards We are ready to set new standards of quality for the 11-meter community, in order to lead our hobby to new grounds based on skills, behaviour and knowledge. We believe, that this will be spread worldwide by our members. Cooperation Delta-Xray Radio Club is ready to support any kind of DX as much as possible. We are ready to cooperate with independent stations, members of other clubs, other clubs, organisations etc. in order to achive our goals. Active It is pure logic, that a Delta-Xray Radio Club member is an active member. Mission How do we realize our Vision? Gentlemanship A Delta-Xray Radio Club member is a gentleman - no less. The gentlemanship is everywhere in the radio community, all the time. This gentlemanship is a part of our image and by being a gentleman every single member supports our Vision in best possible way. Leadership By doing things "the right way" we lead by example and show the community how to do things. We think before we take action, we consider the consequences of our actions and we are ready to help and support our friends in "the frontline". Cooperation We believe that radio groups/clubs should work together, for instance via organisations, in order to achive what is best for the 11-meter community. Therefore Delta-Xray Radio Club has the will to cooperate with independent stations, members of other clubs, other clubs, organisations etc. in order to realize our Vision. We feel that competition is good - but very often cooperation is better. We believe in cooperation rather than competition and we support cooperation initiatives. Skills, behaviour and knowledge To set new standards, we need to lift the standard of the community. Delta-Xray Radio Club will "take the lead" in order to lift the standard in skills, behaviour and knowledge, which we believe are the 3 most important things in order to show professionalism: We believe that when our members show good skills, this will encourage other 11-meter operators to show good skills. What are good skills? Example: "listen before calling..." We believe that when our members show good behaviour, this will encourage other 11-meter operators to show good behaviour. What is good behaviour? Example: "in a pileup, do not call until the operator calls QRZ..." We believe that when our members show good knowledge, this will encourage other 11-meter operators to show good knowledge. What is good knowledge? Example: "we are able to find and use information from various sources..." Improvement A Delta-Xray Radio Club member has to have the will to learn and improve day by day. We understand that we live in a complex world and that our hobby's fundamentals are very technical. Club support A Delta-Xray Radio Club member is a dedicated DXRC member and supports the club. You know that the best way you can support your club is to be active in the community - of course active as a DXRC member. Influence Our members gives the club influence via correct behaviour in the community. This influence must be used to live out our Vision: To set new standards and to improve the understanding for cooperation over competition - in other words: to take our band forward onto a new and more professional level. Memberships of other clubs Delta-Xray Radio Club accepts your need for holding other callsigns. We ask you to consider that usage of a clubs callsign means that you support this club.
