79/14DX007 - Boracay Island OC-129

Welcome to the information page of 79/14DX007.

This page is mainly made to offer log-search, and general information.

Vincents visit to Boracay island had a dual purpose, first and foremost
it was a short holiday trip, but with serious intentions of putting a new one
on the air.

Unfortunately propagation wasn't kind, please read the 79/14DX007 story below

Story:

Hi All,

I just come back from Boracay Island in Philippines (one of the most
beautiful sandy beaches I've ever seen !! ( even better than in 90div or 257div ).

But for my activity, zero propagation, I only heard 153div one
evening (11h00utc) very low in the noise (compared to the 5/9 report from
them when I was in 58div last month). I do not think a better station would
have worked Europe.

I'm so sorry to have not been able to make a single QSO, but I will
try better next time.

Pictures:
Unfortunately no contacts were maybe due to zero propagation, so no need to show radio equipment pics, but here is just a few pictures to show the paradise island of Boracay.
